Dear Mike,
I guess the first I heard Elvis music was back in 1959 when I was just 5 yrs old. At that time I was also a Hank Williams Sr. fan. My Daddy would put my butt on the counter in a local Bar & Grill we called "Nick's" Elvis's and Hank Sr. 45RPM records were in that old Wurlitzer Jukebox which only cost a nickle a song. Aw, I had fun back then girating like the master of Rock 'n' Roll. I can't remember much but my dad said I was doing the moving and grooving until 1964. Then I started to impersonate to the tunes of Elvis & Hank Sr. But then again dad said I was better than any kid on the block. As the years went on my love for Elvis became stronger so I started to collect
45's, Magazines, Posters,etc;etc;etc. By 1983 I was married to a woman who had a split personality I started to Drink and Pop pills just to ease the abuse suffered by her.
I was then titled as an "Alchoholic" We were living in New York.In 1984 I had my 1st Heart Attack. In 1986 I suffered a mild stroke and I thought my life was over. I thought leaving N.Y. would be better for us, but it wasn't. My wife and I moved to Canada in 1993. In 1995. I had a nervous Breakdown. I stayed in the Hospice for 8 months. I couldn't walk or talk and I had to relearn it all again. I endured humiliation from my wife. I guess my physical abuse started when I was a child of 5. Getting back to 1993, I started a little Band called "Eddie and the Playboys". Now When I was with the Playboys I had a Manager in the group Don Cousins who
didn't want me to drink while performing so I had to abide by Don's rules. We sang Country, R&B, Pop but Elvis and Hank Sr. were our all time favorite singers. The years went on and I divorced my wife in 1997 and thanks to my friend, Co-writer and
manager Don Cousins I conquered that sin of drinking and pill popping and now I am free thanks be to God almighty and the Gospel music that Elvis Pesley was recording.
Well now 2001 my band was killed in a car accident. 2004 my Dad died of Cancer. In
2003 my health was deteriating and I thank all you Elvis Presley Impersonators for keeping the memory of the king alive. Without you guys the name of Elvis Presley would be forgotten forever.
On October 12, 2003 I had my 3rd near death experience.I was clinically
dead for approx. 45 minutes.While I was unconcious I met Jesus Christ.He took hold of my hand and helped me up from the operating
table.He then led me down the Hospital corridor and sat me in a chair by a
waiting room. Jesus placed both of
his hands on my forehead for a few minutes.
He then removed them and held them high up
towards the ceiling and then he started walking backwards and faded away.When
doctors revived me after several times using a defibrillater I told the
head surgeon(Dr. Stone) of my strange experience and I was told it was indeed the
King(and I don't mean Elvis Presley) who was with me all the time making
sure I'd be alright. Believe me when I say I now believe in our lord and
savior more than I've ever had in my life.
Now I thank God each and everyday I awake.But
several months ago I suffered what was my 2nd stroke which affected a portion of the memory
part of my brain.I also have Diabetes, Osteoarthritis. I have an Enlarged Heart but Thanks be to God I'm still here. Recently I had a 1&1/2 pound Tumor removed from my chest, I am asking if it's possible for you to send me videos,cd's Regular,Gospel and Christmas (especially Christmas Songs) of you singing like Elvis maybe with an autographed picture as a gift I would greatly appreciate it. I cannot afford to buy anything
because I am on a very,very low fixed income of $45.00 I'm receiving through my Domestic Partner.We live in a community of 1200 people. I am not even able to afford a decent stereo all I got is a Dvd/Cd/Mp3 walkman and this computer I'm using is an older type with no Floppy Drives that was given to me. I know God will Bless you 10,000 times over. May God's richness Bless you. Thank you very much.

I am a friend of big daddy and he is doing just fine, he will have recovery 6-8 weeks he had surgery ran into complications two days after since they released him too early but hopefully you will see him back at the casino in the next week or two.

Hi Mike
I just wanted to take the time to let you know when you were at the Grand Victoria I had a great time. I am a very close friend of Big Daddy and when time permits me to come and see your show it is much enjoyable. I also am friends with Big Daddys wife Mary Lou. I just wanted to let you know since she goes go your shows she has had such a great smile and enjoys seeing you every week also.
You see I do not go out much due to the fact that my husband has been diagnozed with a rare form of cancer with a brain tumor and pretty much most of my time is taking care of him he has cancer, diabetis, gout and due to radiation damage has vertigo on an ongoing basis.
Also on the negative side they have not given him much time to live, so since i spend pretty much of my time taking care of Tony.
You do not know how much of a thrill it is to just sit back and spend an evening listening to your music,
I hope you realize how much of an impact you have on people and that you have been blessed with your voice.
All I want to say is God Bless you and thank you

hey mike and joe the show saturday night was so great. i liked the other elvis tribute artist but i would have to say that mike davis has the best voice. your shows are different every weekend and i love comming to see the show. the dance floor needs to be moved from in front of mike and put off to the side so the people behind the dance floor can see mikes entertainment. like move the tall tables in front of the mirrors and put the dance floor there. till next time tcb

I haven't had this much fun for New Years in a very long time. It was absolutely AWESOME!!!! This was the first New Years mom had celebrated in 20 years and had a fantastic time. I couldn't believe it was over so fast, 4 1/2 hours sure flies when you having a blast!!!!! Thanks for the BEST NEW YEARS!!!!! Debbie and Carol
